Internship Program

A project coming out of FCC is the internship program. We held a luncheon sponsored by Fulton County REMC and Rochester Telephone Company for all companies in the Tippecanoe Valley - Caston - Rochester school corp area on October 8.

The students will benefit from this program with their ability to "test drive" a company's corporate culture, apply classroom knowledge in a real-world environment, gain hands-on project experience, access professional development and training opportunities and deve… Continue

What is FULTON COUNTY COMEBACK?

The Challenge
Rural Indiana faces many challenges. Youth out-migration, a daunting transfer of wealth scenario, and many towns' depleted hopes for surviving - much less thriving - prompt a desperate plea from Indiana's rural communities for innovative strategies that will bring hope and sustainability.

To address important issues, Fulton County Comeback will utilize the Hometown Competitveness model, which is a state supported program that has proven successful in other rural communities. This model is a long-term community sustainability effort, which goes beyond the traditional economic development methodology and focuses on these four key foundational ares:
Entrepreneurship, Youth, Wealth Capture and Leadership.
